Supply and Delivery of Glycols & Methanol

The City of Medicine Hat has issued Request for Proposals CMH26-108 for the supply and delivery of glycols and methanol to support gas production at various Alberta locations, including Crescent Heights, Cousins, Delta, Northeast, and Bowmanton. The scope requires the delivery of 100% Triethylene Glycol with a 1/2% corrosion inhibitor and methanol meeting specific technical standards, with typical load sizes ranging from 5,000 L to 15,000 L. Deliveries must be completed within 24 to 48 hours of order receipt and quoted as FOB various locations, freight prepaid and allowed. The contract features an initial one-year term with the possibility of four annual extensions, for a maximum duration of five years. Proposals are due by October 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time and must be submitted as a single PDF. The award will be granted to the top-ranked proponent based on a scoring system where pricing accounts for 55 points, with the remainder based on technical criteria such as specification compliance and five-year reference history. Selected proponents must accept the supply agreement as is, maintain at least $2,000,000 in automobile liability insurance, and hold a valid City of Medicine Hat Business License. Payment terms are net 30 days from the receipt of a correct invoice.
