Solicitation 75N95024Q00166 is a non-competitive request for quotation issued by the National Institute on Drug Abuse on behalf of the National Institute of Mental Health. The government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for one Takashima 16CH - DR. REICH Marmoset Coil designed for the Bruker 7T MRI AV3 system. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is 75N95024Q00166 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is for a commercial item or service and is conducted under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13'Simplified Acquisition Procedures; and FAR Part 12'Acquisition of Commercial Items and is not expected to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. Only this suggested source and it's resellers can furnish the requirements, to the exclusion of other sources, because the source is the only distributor of this specific marmoset coil. The marmoset coil must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit, and function) with our existing system (Bruker 7T MRI AV3) presently installed.
