The Project scope includes the following major items: New Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP) facilities, sludge feed, pumping, gas handling, nitrogen systems and provisions for future expansion. New pre-dewatering and final solids dewatering facilities, including centrifuge systems, solids storage, feed pumping and grinding, and cake conveyance to existing solids handling facilities. New steam boiler facilities with natural gas-fired boilers with provisions for future expansion. New gravity thickening, thickened sludge blending, blended sludge screening facilities and associated pumping systems. New deammonification (DMX) sidestream lift station. Existing anaerobic digestion system improvements, including digester feed loop modifications, booster pump and support equipment upgrades, and modifications for increased hydrolyzed sludge loading. Polymer, odor control, yard piping, grading and drainage, HVAC, instrumentation and controls, PLC/SCADA integration, utility relocation, and demolition required to support the new facilities. Electrical infrastructure improvements, new power feed from the existing substation, electrical buildings and distribution systems, power and control connections and instrumentation and controls.
