This contract solicitation pertains to the replacement of the TLI transmitter and receiver for the MRG sump tank on the USS PIONEER (MCM-9). The work will be performed in Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan, under the jurisdiction of the Department of Defense’s Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center in Yokosuka. The solicitation requires offerors to hold an active U.S. Navy MSRA/ABR agreement specifically for the Japan region to be considered eligible. Offerors without a current agreement must submit proof of an approved and active U.S. Navy MSRA/ABR agreement as Prime Contractors with their proposals. The solicitation strictly limits participation to contractors authorized to operate in Japan, as mandated by DFARS 252.225-7042. Failure to prove such compliance or the absence of an active MSRA or ABR agreement in the Japan region, or refusal to execute such an agreement prior to award, will disqualify the offeror from receiving the contract. The deadline for proposal submissions is June 12, 2026, and the primary contacts for this solicitation are representatives from the Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka.
