Vero Fiber Networks, LLC’s El Centro Fiber-to-the-Home Project

Vero Fiber Networks, LLC is set to deploy a 92-mile high-capacity telecommunications infrastructure project in El Centro, California, to improve wireless and broadband speeds across residential neighborhoods. The system will consist of approximately 71 miles of new aerial fiber optic cable strung along existing utility poles using new strand, while the remaining 21 miles will involve the installation of new underground conduit and fiber to serve areas where aerial placement is not feasible. The project, identified under the California Public Utilities Commission’s oversight, is part of efforts to expand reliable, high-speed internet access in developed urban zones.
