Vero Fortuna Fiber-to-the-Home Project

The Vero Fortuna Fiber-to-the-Home Project is a last-mile broadband network initiative managed by the California Public Utilities Commission. The project involves the installation of an approximately 70-mile high-capacity cable system designed to run along residential streets within developed areas of Fortuna, California, to significantly improve wireless and broadband speeds for the community. Currently listed as a forecast, the project is overseen by CEQA Project Manager Andrew Chan. The primary objective is to enhance digital connectivity through the deployment of fiber-optic infrastructure throughout the specified performance area in Fortuna.
