Services include developing and executing a Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) management plan, continuously monitoring hardware and Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components through a comprehensive Bill of Materials, conducting risk and impact analyses on production and operational readiness, operating a case management system to track obsolescence issues, and proposing resolution strategies such as alternative parts, life-of-type buys, or redesigns. The contractor must deliver quarterly health reports, program metrics, and updated at-risk component lists while complying with strict Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submission protocols via the Multi-user ECP Automated Review System (MEARS) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
