The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, has issued an Invitation for Bids (IFB) Solicitation Number W912EE26BA003 for the Lease of One Cutterhead, Hydraulic Pipeline Dredge (Not Less than 24-Inch Diameter), Fully Operated with Attendant Plant and Personnel, and with a Draft Not to Exceed 9 Feet, for Construction and Maintenance Dredging within the Vicksburg District – MS River Ports and Harbors.



The work consists of furnishing, delivering and operating one (1) cutterhead, hydraulic pipeline dredge (not less than 24-inch diameter), fully operated with attendant plant and personnel with a draft not to exceed 9 feet for construction and maintenance dredging within the Vicksburg District.



The project has a completion period of 365 Calendar Days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.



This IFB is for one (1) Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract. This procurement is advertised as Unrestricted under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, with a size standard of $37 Million for Dredging and Other Surface Cleanup Activities.



Bids will be evaluated based on lowest price submitted.



In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is estimated to be between $5 Million and $10 Million.



The official plans and specifications will be available on the SAM website at https://sam.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendor's List (IVL) at https://sam.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hard copies will not be available. Bidders must have and maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://sam.gov and must include the NAICS code they are bidding under to receive a Government contract award. If the bidder is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award a bidder is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective bidder.
