Notice ID: W912P626QA028Primary Solicitation Manager: Adam Haley Subject: Salamonie Lake Garage Door Replacement Description: This Solicitation Notice is being issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, to inform interested contractors of the Districts intent to issue a construction solicitation for the Salamonie Lake Garage Door Replacement project located near Lagro, Wabash County, Indiana. PROJECT INFORMATION: This notice concerns a planned construction project for garage-door replacement and related facility improvements at Salamonie Lake. DESCRIPTION: The project includes framing and enclosing open bays in the Old Barn and the lean-to on the New Barn; installing a metal ceiling; installing concrete footers, drainage, floors, and landings; performing asphalt removal, regrading, and resurfacing; adding or replacing exterior man doors, garage-door fixtures, overhead garage doors, and wall-mounted openers; and installing an industrial radio remote door and gate-opening system. The improvements are intended to provide secure and reliable access, improve drainage and weather protection, protect Government equipment, and extend the service life of the facilities.
