KTR is tasked with replacing a failed relief valve on a heat exchanger located in the basement at the Bethesda FSC for Navfac Washington. The scope of work includes isolating the steam and water valves, draining residual water to ensure a safe working environment, installing the new relief valve, and restoring flows to verify the new component's operation. Additionally, the contractor will section off the heat exchanger to test the bundle for internal leaks and provide a detailed report of the findings to the customer. It is explicitly noted that while the testing for internal leaks is included, any subsequent repairs required if a leak is discovered are not covered under this specific non-recurring work order.
