The project involves the replacement of a two-foot section of four-inch cast iron heating hot water piping. The scope of work requires the contractor to implement lockout-tagout procedures and valve off the pumps before replacing the piping section. Following the installation, the contractor must remove the lockout-tagout, perform a comprehensive leak check, and return the system to full operational status.
