This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR Part 13 to procure Maintenance for three (3) Xerox D125 Black and White Copiers with Xerox Free-Flow Server, High capacity feeder and Booklet maker finisher; Maintenance for one Xerox XC560 Color Copier with Xerox Free-Flow Server, High capacity feeder, Booklet maker finisher; for a Period of Performance of 1 year from date of contract award located at Parris Island, South Carolina. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above service to Xerox. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The Contractor is the sole vendor in the area that can provide factory authorized technicians to service the copiers listed above. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
