Firms who desire to challenge this sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm¿s ability to provide an equivalent service as described below (Provide Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) (Carrier) replacement in historic structures). Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to the synopsis by June 11, 2026, 1:00pm Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) to Edward Dingle, Email: edward_dingle@ios.doi.gov. National Park Service intends to negotiate a firm fixed price purchase order with E. Smith Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc., 964 Industrial Park Drive, Marietta, Georgia 30062, 54956. Required Services:

The work is to be done at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Park Historic Ebenezer Church. This structure was built in 1922 in the neighborhood where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was born, it is a part of one of the parks main exhibits.

1. PROJECT OVERVIEW The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to install three (3) 3-ton HVAC systems in the attic of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Work will include integration with portions of the existing ductwork system, installation of electrical disconnects, refrigerant lines, controls, and commissioning of equipment.
