RFLP Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Center Development at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Eielson Air Force Base, and Clear Space Force StationThe Department of the Air Force is soliciting proposals for the development of commercial Artificial Intelligence data centers on underutilized parcels of land located at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Eielson Air Force Base, and Clear Space Force Station in Alaska. This Request for Lease Proposal aims to lease these properties to qualified developers in exchange for monetary consideration reflecting at least the fair market value, in accordance with federal policies and statutes designed to ensure efficient and economical use of government real property assets. While developers may propose projects at any combination of installations, the government does not guarantee to purchase services or power from these data centers, with any such transactions subject to separate agreements. Proposals will be evaluated to select one or more potential lessees with whom the Air Force will negotiate long-term ground lease agreements. However, execution of a lease depends on successful negotiations, and not all potential lessees may become actual lessees. The solicitation, issued under the number AFCEC-26-R-0006, has a submission deadline of June 29, 2026, and is managed by the Department of Defense office located in Texas, with primary points of contact provided for further inquiries. The development aligns with federal real property asset management policies to optimize the value of government land holdings through strategic commercial partnerships.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information on available commercial space in Scranton, Pennsylvania, to lease up to 3,400 rentable square feet and 2,688 usable square feet, primarily for Readjustment Counseling Service activities. The space must be ADA compliant and include nine on-site surface parking spaces. While the preferred space is contiguous on the first floor, non-contiguous or upper-floor spaces with elevator access will also be considered. The lease term is planned for 20 years with a firm term of five years, aiming for occupancy by December 31, 2027. The current government lease in Scranton for similar space expires at that time, and alternative properties will be evaluated based on cost-effectiveness, including relocation and setup expenses. This notice is a market research effort rather than a solicitation, and the VA is not obligated to award a lease based on responses. Interested parties, including property owners or brokers, are invited to submit information about available properties by May 14, 2026, including photos, layouts, location, and proposed pricing per square foot. Communication should be directed to the designated leasing specialists, and submissions exceeding 8 MB should be forwarded in multiple emails. The government emphasizes acquiring leases on the most favorable terms consistent with market rates and operational efficiency, and no commission fees will be paid by the VA.
