PW WIB FORM 1. WORK LOCATION BASE: San Nicolas Island BUILDING NO.: 110 and 290 2. LOCATION POC NAME 3. PROJECT TITLE: Replace Hoists/Cranes SANNIC-110SNI and SANNIC-290SNI 4. IMPACT: SNI 110 & 290 are the only ordnance assembly building currently available on San Nicolas. Overhead cranes are the only ordnance certified on the island, there are no alternates for ordnance lifting functions on San Nicolas. 5. DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Replace all hoist/cranes machinery and controls in SNI110 and SNI290 to bring up to code. Both cranes are to be electric and rated at 15,000 pounds. All enclosures on the cranes shall be appropriate to protect parts from the harsh environment. New braking system, electrical wiring and cables, trolley system, wheels, track, contacts, bumpers, hooks, grounding remote controls, bypass switches, and safety functions. Customer to provide all requirements, and specifications for new cranes. Contractor to survey existing rails and building for hoist/crane load requirements. 7.
