This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the following: The interest and capability of small business, especially service-disabled veteran owned small business and veteran owned small business. Whether the business source is a manufacturer or authorized distributor, verified by an authorization letter from the original equipment manufacturer; and Size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 333112 for the proposed acquisition. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking potential sources for a ZERO TURN RIDE ON MOWER brand name or equal, to be provided for the Chillicothe VA Medical Center, 17273 OH-104, Chillicothe, OH 45601. All items shall be new; refurbished/used items are not acceptable. Salient Characteristics: FOUR - zero turn ride on mower or equivalent. Contractor shall provide Zero turn ride on mower or equivalent to Chillicothe VA Medical Center. The zero turn lawn mowers shall be considered equal if it has the following salient characteristics:
1- General requirements - Deck size width 61 . - Gasoline engine 37-40 HP air-cooled - Dual pump and motor drive system. - 1.5 to 6 cutting height with .25 increments - 12- gallon fuel tank capacity
