PROJECT TITLE: Remove and Replace plumbing in the Pipe Chasewall PH1518 4. IMPACT: Old and deteriorated piping for cold water, domestic hot water and Drain, Waste and Vent is severely corroded and needs replacement throughout the pipe chase walls of the facility. Multiple issues arise from inadequate design or deterioration of systems well exceeding life-cycle of equipment. Installing booster pumps to alleviate low water pressure issues from municipal feed. Installing domestic hot water circulation system ensures troops on 3rd deck receive adequate hot water service vice needing to wait for 1st floor occupants to clear. Replacing DWV system and clearing obstructions for sewer alleviates constant work order callouts. 5. DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Replace all cold water, domestic hot water piping and DWV piping at the plumbing chase walls to alleviate clogging and backup issues for commodes, showers, fixture sinks etc. throughout facility. Install booster pumps to alleviate water pressure issues from low municipal feed pressure. Install domestic hot water circulation system to ensure adequate domestic hot water supplies all 3 floors.
