26-275 Utilities Billing Customer Information System

The City of Augusta seeks a comprehensive utility billing software and Customer Information System (CIS) capable of integrating all core utility operations including customer account management, billing and collections, meter reading systems, asset and work order management, and customer payment portals. The selected vendor must deliver a scalable solution that aligns with both current demands and future growth, ensuring seamless interoperability across all utility service functions. Proposals must demonstrate the system’s ability to handle complex data workflows and support efficient service delivery while meeting Augusta’s operational standards. The vendor chosen will be responsible for leading the full implementation of the system in close collaboration with a City-appointed project manager, including all necessary data conversion and migration from the existing platform. The contract may include a professional services agreement covering implementation, training, ongoing support, and data transition, with selection based on overall value, technical capability, and proven experience.
