61 -- Sole Source Keypads Install

The U.S. Environmental Protection (EPA) Agency Region 6 Office intends to negotiate on a sole source with Tempsco Solutions, a subcontractor to the property owner, Crescent to furnish and install 34 new keypads to support the existing security system monitored and maintained by Temsco Solutions. EPA believes that Tempsco Solutions who currently monitors Region 6's antiquated security access system is the only vendor who can continue to support and monitor the existing security system. This proposed action for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all quotes received by September 7 may be considered by the Government. For additional information and scope of work refer to EPA?s Region 6 Website: http://www.epa.gov/region6/rfq. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed simplified acquisition requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required prior to execution of an award. If no responses are received, an award shall be made to Waste Control Specialists.
