The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 5 plans to negotiate a sole source, Firm Fixed-Price contract with Stryker Sales, LLC through their federal supply schedule to replace end-of-life equipment at the Huntington VA Medical Center. This contract will support the continued provision of minimally invasive and arthroscopic procedures by ensuring compatibility with existing Stryker equipment models, including various laparoscopes and light cords, as well as future integration with Cerner systems. The procurement focuses exclusively on Stryker brand products due to the necessity of maintaining consistency for cost efficiencies related to warranties, repairs, and maintenance, avoiding duplication of costs that would arise if alternative suppliers were used. Interested parties are invited to submit a capabilities statement by September 13, 2022, demonstrating their ability to meet the technical and service support requirements, including proof of training and certification on the relevant Stryker equipment and, if not the manufacturer, an authorized distributor letter from Stryker. Responses will be carefully evaluated, and the government reserves the right to proceed with sole source negotiations with Stryker Sales, LLC if no viable competitors emerge. All interested contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible, and inquiries and submissions are to be directed to Contract Specialist Johao Stewart by email. This action is governed under NAICS code 334510 for Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing and the product service code 6515 for medical and surgical instruments and equipment.
