The 115th Fighter Wing, Madison, WI intends to issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisitions Procedures to Ronco Communications & Electronics, Inc., Tonawanda, NY for add-on requirements to a Telecommunications Management System purchased on contract W9133L-11-C-0032. The add-ons are for installation and configuration of Unique Communications cairs.net Automatic Switch Interface (ASI) and the installation of the UCID-911 interface. The ASI application and 911 interfaces connect the telephone system, cable records database, and E911 systems together. This is an essential component to ensure accurate building and room location information in the event of a 911 emergency call. In the absence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded under the Other than Full and Open Competition procedures, pursuant to FAR Part 13.106-1(b), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted. This is not a request for competitive proposals. The decision not to compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government.
