76--Notice of Intent - Energy Intelligence Group (EIG)

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Analysis (EI-30) in the Office of Energy Information Administration (EIA), intends to award a sole source contract to Energy Intelligence Group, Inc. (EIG). The requirement consists of a one year subscription to the following EIG publications with unique reporting capabilities: EI New Energy, Nefte Compass, Oil Daily, Oil Market Intelligence, Petroleum Intelligence Weekly, and World Gas Intelligence. Energy Intelligence information services delivers high-quality analysis of the most important developments in the industry. Energy Intelligence provides of objective news, unbiased analysis and reliable data through daily and weekly information services and annual research reports. The DOE is using exemption to competition 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii), One Responsible Source. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within seven calendar days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
