Aerial Laser and/or Drone Show Production Services (Re-release)

The City of Los Angeles Harbor Department is seeking proposals for environmentally sustainable outdoor evening entertainment services to replace traditional fireworks with drone or aerial laser shows. This initiative supports the department's mission to engage with the community while complying with the new environmental guidelines set by the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board. The chosen contractor will be responsible for organizing large-scale outdoor evening shows, which include managing the setup, performance, and cleanup of drone or laser displays at predetermined locations and times. They are expected to handle all necessary logistics including equipment provision, show choreography, music licensing, and acquiring permits from relevant authorities. The contractor must use licensed drone or laser operators and have an experienced crew to ensure successful execution of these shows. The Harbor Department of Los Angeles will assist by providing a staging area, notifying contractors of event dates at least 30 days in advance, and offering facilities such as parking and restrooms. Additional support includes ensuring on-site security during setups and covering standby firefighter fees if necessary. The contract is for a duration of one year, from the date of execution, and the performances will be held at various public event locations under the Harbor Department's jurisdiction in Los Angeles.
