Annual Signal Maintenance

The City of North Bay is soliciting quotes for RFQ 2026-107 to provide annual maintenance for signalized intersections. The contract requires the selected supplier to provide pricing per intersection for maintenance services that comply with the Municipal Act 239/02 sections 13 and 14, as well as OTM book 12 section 3.13. All field personnel must be IMSA certified as minimum level 2 Traffic Signal Field Technicians and hold a valid Red Seal Journey Person 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrical license. The City of North Bay Traffic Department will supply all necessary materials for repairs and maintenance. The contract term is effective through April 30, 2027, with payment terms set at net 30 days upon acceptance of services by the Site Authority. Deliverables include the completion of maintenance logs for each intersection, the regular submission of street work permits, and weekly email reports to the Traffic Supervisor. Evaluation of respondents follows a three-stage process covering mandatory submission requirements, mandatory technical requirements, and pricing, with the award granted to the top-ranked respondent. Submissions must be made electronically by October 14, 2026. Selected respondents must provide a WSIB Clearance Certificate and a Certificate of Insurance within 14 days of selection.
