Baytrans Inc. Trucking Service

The Baytrans Inc. Trucking Service Facility project, identified by solicitation number DR25-109, involves the development of a cargo truck receiving, servicing, and storage facility located at 1440 Vinci Avenue, Sacramento, California. The project site spans 4.7 acres and will feature a 19,600 square foot light industrial pre-engineered metal building that includes office space, service bays, a break room, and a warehouse shop. Site infrastructure will include 79 trucking parking spaces, 46 passenger vehicle parking spaces, and perimeter security fencing and gates to separate vehicle types. Additional site improvements include stormwater bio-retention basins and utility connections for water, sewer, and electricity via the City of Sacramento and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. The project requires the removal of an existing single-family home currently on the site and is designed to support up to 12 employees. The City of Sacramento Community Development Department has issued a Notice of Exemption dated January 21, 2026, determining that the project is exempt from further environmental review under CEQA guidelines as it constitutes infill development consistent with the 2040 General Plan.
