Big Chico Creek Erosion Repair Project (Capital Project No. 50497)

The City of Chico is undertaking the Big Chico Creek Erosion Repair Project under Capital Project No. 50497 to stabilize creek banks and prevent erosion through the installation of approximately 180 linear feet of rock slope protection along the northern bank of Big Chico Creek, with additional work at the Warner Street Bridge, Rose Avenue Bridge, and Manzanita Avenue/Vallombrosa Avenue intersection. The City of Chico, as the lead agency, is responsible for oversight with technical coordination from California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and compliance is enforced through ongoing monitoring and reporting.
