This contract pertains to the provision of student transportation services for up to five students between Camp Darby in Pisa, Italy, and two primary locations in Florence—the International School of Florence main campus and its gymnasium—serving non-DoD Worldwide Dependent Schools (NDSP) authorized schools. The contractor will operate under a firm-fixed-price structure awarded through a Request for Quotation, with the base performance period running from September 18, 2026, through July 31, 2027, and four potential one-year option periods extending through July 31, 2031. The contractor is required to cover all ZTL fees negotiated by the government and must accommodate flexible scheduling and route adjustments to align with school events. Operations will primarily involve daily pick-up and drop-off logistics tied to the school calendar, with travel restricted to designated sites in and around Florence. All potential offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with an active Unique Entity Identifier and a valid CAGE or NCAGE code prior to award. Italian contractors may obtain their NCAGE code through the official Italian defense portal. Registration must include completion of the required representations and certifications under FAR clause 52.212-3. No site visit or pre-quote conference will be conducted, and the solicitation is set to be issued in July 2026 with responses due by August 18, 2026. Failure to comply with SAM registration requirements or to maintain up-to-date entity information will disqualify an offeror from contract award, regardless of quotation quality. The contracting office is located in APO, AE, under the Department of Defense, with primary point of contact provided for inquiries.
