Camp Roberts - Establish Monarch Butterfly Habitat

The California Military Department, through the California Army National Guard, is establishing a 3.5 acre Monarch Butterfly breeding habitat at Camp Roberts in San Luis Obispo County. The scope of work involves comprehensive habitat restoration including burning, site preparation, planting, watering, mulching, and weeding. To execute these tasks, the project will utilize equipment such as augers, dump trucks, water trucks, and shovels, with the potential implementation of a hard line for water.
