CPTGRD - Request NAVFAC create 1391 and generate required documentation in support of the renovation of the Fire Fighting Trainer. The trainer renovation will follow the proposed plan below. 1. PMS 339 will create a conceptual layout for the modernization and upgrade of the current FFT. ECD Nov 24 2. PMS 339 will utilize this concept, training requirements documentation, NAVFAC Inspection reports and NETC inspection reports to hire A/E firms to create a trainer modernization design and a facility design. Request NAVFAC Engineering support in review and approval of design efforts. Design efforts to commence 2nd QTR of FY25 with ECD of Aug2025. 3. PMS 339 will turn over IFB/IFC design to NAVFAC for execution of facility renovation. Request award by Dec 2025. Facility design project will follow standard practices with a charrette, 35%,65% and 95% design reviews. A/E firm will be on contract to support efforts through development of as built drawings. PMS 339 will fund NAVFAC and PW efforts as required.
