CURRENT SITUATION: The maintenance bay on the east side of the new AF PEB currently under construction was designed to accommodate up to a 6-ton overhead crane. The project as currently scoped does not include provision for providing or installation of a crane--only the mount and supporting utilities. REQUIREMENT: 726 EABS maintains wide variety of vehicles and heavy equipment for AF assets on CLDJ and CADJ. Related tasks include, but are not limited, to removal/installation of engines, transfer cases, cabs and related heavy components. The AF requires support with procuring, installing, and certifying overhead crane equipment with the following characteristics: - Fully motorized, - Monorail - Dual axis - (minimum) 3-ton capacity - Installed on the currently designed/constructed mounts
