CURRENT SITUATION: Building 398 has a growth inside of the building covering the walls and equipment inside. REQUIREMENT: 1. Disconnect communications gear and remove from building. 2. Completely remove all damaged materials including plywood walls, flooring. 3. Clean all associated Communications, electrical, and mechanical equipment. 4. Ensure hidden substrate is completely removed from building. 5. Replace and reinstall all material that was removed (should be a material resistant to future growth) 6. Install two new split units with dehumidification capabilities. 7. Move and reconnect all communications gear back to its original configuration. 8. Building should be added to routine maintenance checks. IMPACT: Renovating this building will eliminate any potential health concerns and allow future uninterrupted services from the communications equipment because members will safely be able to perform maintenance.
