The primary focus area of this contract is to provide over 300 mission-essential communications engineering, operations, and maintenance personnel at 14 bases in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) and is vital to United States military operations. The planned projects are identical to the projects currently being performed by the encumbent contractors under these contracts. This contract will expire on 20 SEP 2012. Not awarding this period of performance extension and ceiling increase modification would cause negative impact on the continued and successful efforts of USCENTCOMs execution of the Global War on Terrorism. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of the work required during the extension period would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract extension period based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written comments or questions regarding this notice must be e-mailed to the Contracting Officer, Trish Johnson at e-mail address contact@example.gov.
