5P300-22-0061/B Title – Crab Winch Refurbishment Project Ontario Waterways – Trent Severn WaterwayREISSUE OF BID SOLICITATIONThis bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number 5P300-22-0061/A dated August 11, 2022 with a closing of September 7, 2022 2:00pm. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.BIDS RECEIVED BY FAX AND EMAIL WILL BE ACCEPTED AS OFFICIAL. BIDS RECEIVED IN-PERSON OR BY COURIER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The only acceptable facsimile for responses to bid solicitations is 1-877-558-2349.The only acceptable email address for responses to the bid solicitation issoumissionsest-bidseast@pc.gc.ca. Bids submitted by email directly to the Contracting Authority or to any email address other than soumissionsest-bidseast@pc.gc.ca will not be accepted.The maximum email file size that Parks Canada is capable of receiving is 15 megabytes. The Bidder is responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of the emailed bid due to file size.The Bidder should be cognisant of the size of the email as a whole, and not only the attachments. Please take into consideration that some attachments, when sent, may be resized during the email transfer. If the email size is too large, the Bidder should send the bid in multiple emails properly labeled with the solicitation number, project name, and indicate how many emails are included (ex. 1 of 2).Emails with links to bid documents will not be accepted. Bid documents must be sent as email attachments.REQUIREMENTParks Canada requires refurbishment of five (5) sets of crab winches for a total of ten (10) winches to be refurbished.Optional Deliverables for an additional five (5) sets of winches ten (10) winches totalPERIOD OF CONTRACT / DELIVERY DATEThe period of the Contract is from date of Contract to March 31, 2024 inclusive. ENQUIRIESAll enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority no later than five (5) calendar days before the bid closing date. Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.Bidders should reference as accurately as possible the numbered item of the bid solicitation to which the enquiry relates. Care should be taken by Bidders to explain each question in sufficient detail in order to enable Canada to provide an accurate answer. Technical enquiries that are of a proprietary nature must be clearly marked "proprietary" at each relevant item. Items identified as "proprietary" will be treated as such except where Canada determines that the enquiry is not of a proprietary nature. Canada may edit the question(s) or may request that the Bidder do so, so that the proprietary nature of the question(s) is eliminated, and the enquiry can be answered to all Bidders. Enquiries not submitted in a form that can be distributed to all Bidders may not be answered by Canada.INFORMATIONNational Parks Regulations require that all work is to be performed in accordance with the ordinances, laws, rules and regulations set out in the National Park Act.Bidders that consider themselves qualified to provide this Work and intend to submit bids on this project should obtain documents from the Government Electronic Tendering Service through the Government of Canada tendering service at www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued, will be available from the Government of Canada tendering service. Bidders that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk. Late submissions will not be considered.The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. Parks Canada has made every effort to provide equivalent documents in both official languages, however, if you find any discrepancies between the English and French documents, please notify the contract officer listed in this opportunity as soon as possible so that we can rectify the situation.
