The Bureau of Indian Education has issued a preliminary notice to gather industry input regarding the potential procurement of Education Technology Support services under NAICS code 611710, with a size standard of $24 million in annual revenue. This notice is not a request for quotes, proposals, or bids, and the government is under no obligation to proceed with a contract or respond to submissions. Contractors are encouraged to voluntarily provide basic business information, including their legal name, active SAM UEI and CAGE codes, and business size classification—specifically whether they are a large business or a small business, and if applicable, their eligibility under subcategories such as EDWOSB, WOSB, SDVOSB, or HUBZone. Responses must also indicate eligibility under the Buy Indian Act, either as an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise or an Indian Economic Enterprise, where “Indian” refers to an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe. The notice serves as both a request for information and a sources-sought action to help the agency determine whether to set aside the future solicitation or open it broadly. Contractors are invited to submit neutral, constructive feedback on the draft Statement of Objectives to improve clarity and eliminate ambiguity, though no individual responses or answers will be provided by the government. All submissions are due by August 18, 2026, and only those with an active SAM registration will be eligible for consideration if a formal solicitation is later issued. The point of contact for questions is Leah Azure of the Indian Education Acquisition Office in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
