**MCIWEST PROPOSED FY25 ATA** The purpose of this project is to repair the 53 Area Training Tank Complex which serves as the only Marine Corps Underwater Egress Trainer (UET) on the West Coast. Specifically, the Training Tank complex consists of bathhouse facility 53415 and the adjacent training tank facility 53417. Project repairs include related plumbing and mechanical systems of both the bathhouse and the training tank, repair of the pool decking and the repair of the asphalt and gravel POV parking area that surrounds the Training Tank complex. If not repaired, the constant mold, mildew and standing water in the bathhouse and pool issues will continue to present immediate life, health, safety impacts and with significant negative impact on the mission training and combat readiness of Marines and Sailors. This training tank is required to remain in use until its MILCON replacement in the 53 Area is programmed as no other training tank exists in this location aboard the installation
