CURRENT SITUATION: Current HAZMAT storage containers are uncovered and exposed to environmental elements, especially excessive sunlight and heat. REQUIREMENT: The requirement for building and installing a metal canopy over the HAZMAT locker, currently on a 120-foot by 35-foot contained concrete pad. This includes the design and construction of a durable, weather-resistant structure that provides adequate protection from environmental elements while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The canopy must be constructed from corrosion-resistant materials, capable of withstanding high winds and heavy precipitation. It should be designed to facilitate easy access to the locker, with appropriate drainage systems to prevent water accumulation. All installation procedures must adhere to local building codes and HAZMAT storage regulations, and the final structure should undergo inspections to ensure it meets safety standards. IMPACT: This project would better protect HAZMAT form adverse weather conditions.
