The Department of National Defence is soliciting two units of the Guildline 6540-B Hybrid Bridge, identified by part number 6540-B and MMR 6540-B:35939, or an equivalent product that meets or exceeds all functional and performance requirements. All items must be new and conform to the latest specifications in effect as of the solicitation closing date, with each unit accompanied by a certificate of calibration compliant with ISO 17025 and dated no more than 90 days prior to delivery. The delivery deadline is November 15, 2026, and all goods must be delivered DDP to the specified warehouse at DND, QETE Supply, 45 Blvd Sacré Coeur, Gatineau, QC. Packaging must comply with environmental standards, meaning materials must be reusable, returnable, or recyclable, except for excluded items like packaging tape and specialized packaging requiring technical performance. The award will be made to the lowest evaluated price among technically compliant bids, with all foreign currency converted to Canadian dollars using the Bank of Canada rate on the closing date. The contract is governed by the Defence Production Act and is subject to anti-forced labour requirements, with no security clearance or controlled goods classification applicable. Canada reserves the right to terminate the contract for convenience with thirty days’ notice, paying only for delivered, inspected, and accepted work, or for default if the contractor fails to perform or becomes insolvent. Excusable delays lasting thirty days or more may also permit termination without liability. The contractor must maintain an accounting system that enables Canada to readily access records and retain all contract-related documentation until seven years after final payment or settlement of disputes, whichever is later.
