This firm-fixed-price acquisition is driven by critical infection control and physical environment deficiencies identified during a June 2026 Joint Commission survey. The required equipment includes a custom Aerowerks two-compartment sink system with a drainboard, a Salvajor food waste disposer, and a Hobart TurboWash II pot scrubber. All equipment must be NSF listed, commercial grade, and compliant with Joint Commission, CMS Conditions of Participation, and FDA Food Code standards. The contractor is responsible for freight, uncrating, and delivery to the facility within 60 calendar days of award. A qualified Aerowerks technician must perform the on-site assembly within 14 days of delivery to preserve the manufacturer warranty. Strict safety and cleanliness protocols are in effect, including the requirement for hot work permits for welding and the immediate removal of all packaging and metal debris to prevent food service contamination. Payment will be issued via a single electronic invoice on a Net 30 basis following the COR's written acceptance of the installed and inspected equipment.

The contract covers eight specific Eaton UPS systems located at the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.
