Provide complete A-E services to provide full design and construction documentation of renovating Building 4074 for the Federal Fire Department. Work shall include but not limited to repair and/or replacement of portions thereof to the existing civil, structural, electrical and mechanical and fire protection systems; demolition of items associated with making the facility compliant with NFPA 101 Life Safety Standards; seismic and wind load structural improvements, if required; hazardous material testing and mitigation design through environmental engineering services; and landscape design should there be any civil site work disturbances. Architectural features, walls, floors, doors, etc. shall suit the use for UFC 4-730-10 Fire Station requirements for both administrative, billeting, and operational functions. All areas within this project shall be in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations, & shall include but not limited to AT/FP, Security, Fire Protection, Seismic, Accessibility, ASHRAE and energy codes and standards. Systems incorporated into the project shall assist in meeting EPACT 2005 goals including occupancy sensors and high efficiency air conditioning units. Work shall also include but not limited to communicating and coordinating with all MCBH stakeholders and NAVFAC agencies involved with this project, along with setting up design presentations & meetings, distributing deliverables and thorough & complete site surveys/investigations. The MCBH Design & Construction Standard (dated 11 Feb 2021) shall be followed as well as any updated requirements.
