This request is for vendors who have already submitted a quotation for this RFQ, please clarify pricing for removal and disposal of existing furniture: 32 total desks, 31 overhead cabinets, 33 under-desk storage drawers, 35 rolling chairs, 1 12ft x 4ft conference table.
Additionally, please restrict any revised pricing adjustments exclusively to the removal and disposal of the existing furniture.
The 346th Training Squadron (346 TRS) located at Port Hueneme, CA, requires the delivery, assembly, and installation of new
office furniture to building 1423. The contractor shall be responsible for breaking down and removing old furniture. The
government will be responsible for ensuring existing workspaces are cleared of all belongings prior to arrival of the contractor
team. The contractor shall deliver and install new furniture to building 1423. The contractor shall install electrical components
in new panel furniture that will connect to existing power located in room 110. The furniture shall be traditional styling in a
sterling ash finish. Hardware (pulls, knobs, etc.) shall be finished with polished chrome. All tack board fabric shall be finished in
gray mix interlude. All trim shall be black in color. All grommets shall be gray in color. The government will not exercise any
supervision or control over the contract service providers performing replacement of furniture. Such contract service providers
shall be accountable solely to the contractor, who in turn is responsible to the government. The requirement will be performed
in accordance with the Salient Characteristics provided by the unit.
