The U.S. Embassy in Amman, Jordan has awarded a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for comprehensive janitorial services under solicitation number 19J01026R0002, with performance beginning upon contract award and a base period of one year, extendable by up to four additional one-year option periods and one optional six-month extension. The contract requires the contractor to provide daily cleaning and disinfection services across all embassy facilities in Amman, including the NOX Building, South and North Chancery Buildings, and Consular Agency Centers, adhering to strict standards outlined in the Performance Work Statement and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan. Services include floor maintenance, waste removal, high-touch surface disinfection, carpet care, and specialized environmental tasks such as recycling reporting and green cleaning in compliance with Green Seal and EPA-registered product requirements, as well as adherence to DC Janitorial Services Environmental Guidance Documents. All cleaning products must be properly labeled in English with MSDS references, securely packaged to prevent leaks, and used in compliance with Jordanian safety codes and manufacturer instructions, with no military packaging standards applicable. The contract mandates a range of administrative, operational, and security obligations, including the submission of detailed documentation such as a Cleaning Product List, Green Cleaning Plan, Training Curriculum, SOPs, EPPS Report, and Monthly Recycling Report within specified timeframes after award. All personnel must undergo background checks, receive U.S. Government-issued identity cards that are visibly displayed at all times, and comply with stringent standards of conduct prohibiting intoxicants, disorderly behavior, or any activity interfering with embassy operations. The contractor must provide current insurance certificates within ten days of award, acquire all local licenses and permits, and submit a transition plan within thirty days detailing personnel clearance timelines and staffing priorities. A complete list of personnel must be provided to the Contracting Officer’s Representative within ten days of award.
