Baruch College has entered into a three-year, single-source contract with LinkedIn Corporation to provide a campus-wide license for LinkedIn Learning, granting access to an extensive collection of online courses and video tutorials across business, technology, and creative disciplines. This initiative aims to enhance faculty, staff, and student development, supporting the College’s objectives in academic instruction, career advancement, and continuing education. The contract is effective until August 12, 2025, and covers all New York State counties, reflecting the College’s commitment to broad access within the state. The procurement was approved as a sole-source exemption under State Finance Law § 163 and NYS procurement guidelines, as only LinkedIn Corporation can meet the College’s specific requirements for this platform, making competitive bidding impractical. The contract’s value ranges between $50,000 and $200,000, and the procurement process was conducted through the City University of New York (CUNY) system. Questions regarding this exemption or contract should be directed to Devon Hariprashad, Chief Procurement Officer at Baruch College.
