MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF THE SHABOO STAGE, JILLSON SQUARE AND JILLSON EVENTS

The Town of Windham is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations or firms to manage and operate the Shaboo Stage, Jillson Square, and the Jillson Event Space in Willimantic, Connecticut. The primary goal of this arrangement is to transition from direct municipal management to a professional venue-management model. This shift aims to increase the visibility and utilization of these public facilities while expanding community, cultural, and recreational programming. The selected partner will be responsible for improving event coordination, managing rentals, and developing new revenue streams through sponsorships. Interested parties must submit their responses by September 24, 2026. This solicitation, identified as number 2026-08-27, is managed through the Connecticut DAS Procurement office.
