Mark Stream Crossing Project (Project) (Notification of Lake or Streambed Alteration, No. EPIMS-MEN-64720-R1C)

The Mark Stream Crossing Project, identified by Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-MEN-64720-R1C, is authorized by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for Bodhi Mark. Located in the Russian River watershed in Mendocino County, approximately six miles southeast of Yorkville, the project is limited to a single encroachment. The scope of work involves upgrading an existing culvert stream crossing through excavation, removal of the old culvert, installation of a new properly sized culvert, backfilling, compaction of fill, and the application of rock armoring to prevent erosion. The project is governed by Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code and qualifies for a Class 2 categorical exemption under California Code of Regulations title 14, section 15302, as it replaces an existing structure on the same site with one of substantially the same purpose and capacity. Performance will take place at Assessor's Parcel Number 049-370-63-00, specifically at coordinates 38.881959 N and -123.115535 W.
