NAIT is upgrading two exterior digital signage displays. One display is located at the Main Campus at 11762 – 106 Street NW, Edmonton, AB (outside X-Building at the corner of Princess Elizabeth Avenue and 106 Street NW). The second display is located at Souch Campus at 7110 Gateway Boulevard, Edmonton, AB (south side at the corner of Gateway Boulevard and 71 Avenue NW). NAIT is looking at replacing the displays with Direct View LED (DvLED) display systems, while reusing the existing enclosures and infrastructure. The video signal to the signs will be delivered via existing BrightSign digital signage players, connected through the existing CAT6e gigabit Ethernet infrastructure, and content is provided via an AppSpace license. A maintenance agreement will also be required as part of this project, with tiered options available. Negotiations post-project completion on an extended support contract should be discussed.
