On-Call Roofing Inspections, Maintenance, and Repair Services

Wicomico County is establishing a roofing master contract for on-call inspections, maintenance, and repair services for all County buildings, including flashing and gutter system repairs. While the scope can include full roof replacements, the County reserves the right to bid projects exceeding 25,000 dollars separately or accept master contract pricing based on its best interest. Proposals are due by October 6, 2026, and will be evaluated based on best value for money, requiring vendors to have at least five years of experience. Required submissions include a Maryland Certificate of Good Standing, company biography, and qualifications for key personnel. The pricing structure is based on regular and overtime hourly labor rates and a markup percentage for materials, with a fixed 10 percent pre-tax markup for third-party equipment rentals. Awarded vendors must provide performance and payment bonds for 100 percent of the contract price within 14 days of receipt and comply with all OSHA safety regulations. Payment for approved work will be issued within 30 calendar days of receiving a proper invoice.
