The National Cancer Institute is issuing a limited competition Notice of Funding Opportunity, solicitation RFA-CA-28-004, to support the continuation of two critical biospecimen banking resources. These resources include the National Clinical Trials Network Biobanks, which support the NCTN and the Community Oncology Research Program, and the Early-Phase and Experimental Clinical Trials Biospecimen Bank, which supports the ETCTN and other early-phase experimental trials. The primary objective is to maintain national infrastructure for the collection, processing, storage, and distribution of high-quality, clinically annotated human biospecimens to enable translational cancer research, biomarker development, and the study of drug response and resistance. Eligible organizations must submit applications by February 12, 2027, to be considered for funding. All submissions will undergo a standard NIH peer-review process, and only meritorious applications will be selected. Usually this means that the donor recently passed away, allowing this tissue to become available for recipients. Fresh soft tissue Osteochondral Allograph for surgery due 5 Jul 2012. This is a special graft requiring specific matching via tissue and measurements from the donor and recipient. This company is the only one at this time that carries this fresh medial femoral chondylar tissue, in the exact size needed for this patient. Solicitation # FA7000-25-S-C001
The USAFA Rapid Acquisition Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) FA7000-25-S-C001 is an umbrella solicitation designed to acquire innovative commercial technologies and services to support the United States Air Force Academy's mission in leadership, academics, fitness, and professionalism. Operating as a CSO with Calls, this vehicle does not request proposals upon initial issuance but instead establishes a framework for future requirements. To date, the CSO has issued six distinct Calls focusing on diverse operational needs. These include strategic admissions outreach (Call 001), military exoskeleton technology to enhance warfighter lethality (Call 002), autonomous virtual perimeter monitoring for situational awareness (Call 003), and warfighter training support services for a 47-month cadet continuum (Call 004). More recent efforts include the implementation of AI-powered automated high school and college transcript processing (Call 005) and a comprehensive brand analysis to develop a Strategic Brand Roadmap (Call 006). Due to the handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), certain requirements, particularly for AI and IT solutions, restrict participation to U.S. Persons, including U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.
