Reroof magazines at West Loch 23 Group. Project is required to repair leaks and prevent future leaks in the roofs of Magazines. If repairs are not provided, tenant operations will continue to be adversely impacted and experience a reduction in operational efficiency, which could eventually jeopardize the mission and fleet readiness. - Water penetration into the magazines - Erosion of rock cover on roofs This is not a traditional magazine roof covering. The SOW is to cover each magazine listed below in the 23 group magazine area with one solid sheet of coated and bonded membrane. The areas that overlap the concrete are secured by a metal strap and concrete screws and grounded to the magazine grounding strap. At grade a small trench about 14 inches is dug and the membrane covers the trench and back filled with dirt and gravel. The membrane is bonded to this magazine vent. The result is a total water proof magazine with a 20 year warranty.
