PACKAGED TERMINAL AIR CONDITIONERS DUE: 2PM OPENS: 3PM

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is soliciting bids for the furnishing and delivery of up to 30 Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) through-the-wall cooling units. The basis of design is the First Co. ECO-Series Cool-Pak ECE18205A00A000F or an equivalent model that meets mandatory specifications, including a minimum 18,000 BTUH nominal cooling class, 208/240 V single phase electrical requirements, and compatibility with a 44 inch by 21-5/8 inch standard sleeve rough-in. All products must be new, of the current manufacturer model, and of the best quality, as remanufactured or used products will not be accepted. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, with a total initial performance period not to exceed twelve months. Bids must be submitted electronically by November 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM CST, and must include a signed bid form with net pricing on an F.O.B. UL Lafayette Destination basis. Required documentation includes manufacturer specifications, a certificate of insurance, and a standard warranty typically consisting of one year for parts and labor and two to six years for the sealed system and compressor. The successful vendor must maintain commercial general liability insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence and comply with Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Law. Payment terms are Net 60 days after delivery and acceptance, and the university is exempt from all Louisiana state and local sales and use taxes.
