To restore the site to pre-flood conditions, the recommended repair work consists of restoring the waterside levee slope and toe to their original pre-flood geometry. The slope will be reshaped to a 3H:1V, track-walked, and seeded and extend approximately 2 to 5 feet above and below the wave wash damage to adequately tie in to the existing levee slope. The site will be cleared of debris and stripped of organics, excavated, then disked/scarified, moisture conditioned, and re-compacted prior to placing fill material. Fill material will be composed of material similar in gradation and engineering properties as that of existing levee fill. The repair will extend a total of 22 feet up the levee slope, accounting for adequate tie in to the existing levee slope.
